DFARS 242.70 Contractor Business Systems – dated February 2012

This DFARS subpart discusses what occurs when the DoD determines there is a contractor business system deficiency (determination to withhold payments). Also see the related DFARS clause 252.242.7005, Contractor Business Systems, that defines "contractor business systems". The six contractor business systems subject to withholding should the government determine there is a system deficiency include:

• Cost estimating system
• Earned value management system
• Material management and accounting system
• Accounting system administration
• Contractor purchasing system administration
• Contractor property management system administration
